Through classes and hackathons I have learned to love group projects. Being able to collaborate with others is very important to me because it integrates new ideas and solutions that I may have never thought of.
As a Walgreens Pharmacy Technician and an IT Helpdesk Technician I take pride in being able to assist others. Helping people and making their lives a little bit easier is the reason why I do what I do.

hackGSU is the Hackathon hosted by the Georgia State University Computer Science Department's ACM and IEEE student organizations. For our hack we created an app for the Pebble Watch in which the cat image on the face of the watch changes when you dance. It was our first time working with the Pebble and we wanted to do something fun and silly.
MLH Prime: Spring Finale 2016 is the championship event of Major League Hacking's (MLH) student hackathon season. Hundreds of students from around the world join together in the New York area to learn about bleeding edge technology, and build amazing projects over the course of 24 hours. Fishackathon was launched in 2014 around Secretary Kerry’s Our Ocean conference. Fishackathon brings together computer programmers to find innovative ways to collect and analyze data, and find solutions for unsustainable fishing practices. We participated in the third annual Fishackathon at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta Georgia.
This website was created in order to assist Veterans with access to detailed benefits in the United States. The website was built using HTML, CSS, Google Maps, and Javascript. For this project we won the Contribution Award.
HackFSU is a 30-hour hackathon (software development marathon) at Florida State University. For our projected we created Aquatio, a fun iOS game, to remind users to be socially and environmentally conscious. It was our very first time using swift and xcode to create an iphone app and we learned so much in those 30 hours. We also won Best Design
SwampHacks is a 24-hour hackathon (software development marathon) at the University of Florida that is intended to bring makers of all experience levels together for a weekend to create some amazing things and learn new skills. It was my first hackathon and we were the only all-female team that competed. The project we submitted used Clarafai's api in order to pull the most prominent color from a photo and convert the color's hexadecimal code into binary in order to teach children about binary in a fun and interactive manner.
